  1. Design precision transmission systems, responsible for mechanical structure solutions and detailed design optimization of robot joints and motor gearboxes;
  2. Perform gear parameter calculations, strength verification, tolerance analysis, backlash control, and transmission efficiency improvement; design gear pairs, bearing supports, lubrication, and sealing systems to achieve high reliability, low noise, and long service life;
  3. Independently complete the full product development process, including gearbox layout design, 3D modeling, 2D engineering drawings, and BOM compilation;
  4. Participate in prototype manufacturing, assembly and debugging, bench testing, and system integration, resolving structural and process issues during machining, assembly, and testing;
  5. Monitor small-batch trial production and assist the supply chain in conducting technical evaluations and quality control for critical components such as gears, housings, and bearings;
  6. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including motor, control algorithm, and system integration engineers, to optimize mechatronic designs;
  7. Provide technical support to procurement and production teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, assembleable, and suitable for mass production.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Design, Mechatronics, Vehicle Engineering, or related fields; at least 3 years of structural design experience, including at least 1 year of specialized design experience in precision gearboxes/reduction units;
  2. Proficient in gear transmission principles; familiar with the design of cylindrical, planetary, and bevel gears, as well as ISO 6336/AGMA strength calculations;
  3. Proficient in 3D structural design and drafting software;
  4. Proficient in tolerance analysis and dimensional chain calculations, with the ability to design proper fits and clearances;
  5. Familiar with common gear materials (carburized steel, nitrided steel, powder metallurgy, etc.) and heat treatment processes;
  6. Knowledge of machining processes such as gear hobbing, shaping, and grinding, as well as inspection methods including tooth profile measurement and CMM inspection.
