Job Responsibilities

1. Take charge of the appearance design, CMF design and mass production realization of robot products.Lead the creative design of overall product form, color, material and craftsmanship, and balance futuristic sense, brand recognition and emotional expression.Complete the full-process design delivery from conceptual sketches and 3D modeling to mass-producible solutions under engineering constraints.
2. Undertake the personalized and emotional expression design of robots.Create unique character traits for robots based on product positioning, and deliver systematic visual expression through form, CMF, lighting effects and other elements.Produce design deliverables including mood boards and character design guidelines to guide subsequent animation and interaction design.
3. Manage design verification and full-lifecycle cross-team collaboration.Efficiently verify design concepts by means of sketching, rendering and rapid prototyping.Cooperate with structural, hardware and production teams to follow up the entire process from concept to mass production, ensuring high-fidelity implementation of design solutions.

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Design, Product Design or related majors; graduates from China’s nine major art academies are preferred.
2. Minimum 3 years of design experience in consumer electronics, smart hardware or robotics industry; candidates with mature mass-produced product cases are preferred.
3. Proficient in hand-drawing expression; skilled in at least one mainstream modeling and rendering software such as Rhino, KeyShot and Blender.
4. Keen aesthetic sensitivity and solid control over form and CMF; capable of converting design trends and creative ideas into feasible solutions.
5. In-depth understanding of emotional design, able to convey user emotions and brand tonality through physical product design.
6. Possess engineering thinking with basic mechanical and electronic knowledge, and take manufacturability into consideration at the early design stage.
7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to clearly present design ideas in cross-functional teams and drive design implementation.
